Mammootty joins Love In Singapore

Superstar Mammootty-starrer Mayavi was indeed a comeback vehicle for the superstar to return in the mainstream cinema after enacting some offbeat roles last year. Mayavi was a typical superstar film with all the vital ingredients to please his fans comedy, action, emotions and even a tentative dance sequence. The film was scripted by the Rafi-Mecartin duo.

Now, Rafi-Mecartin is back with their 18th script Love In Singapore featuring Mammootty in the lead role. It will be Rafi-Mecartin's ninth film as directors. Though Mammootty has earlier appeared in films with Rafi-Mecartin as scriptwriters, this is the first time they get to direct Mammootty.

The crew and the cast will be announced soon. Shooting begins by the end of October and this will be the first Mammootty release of 2009.
