Parunthu begins dubbing work

The dubbing of Mammootty's upcoming movie Parunthu, directed by M. Padma Kumar, has begun in Ernakulam. Re-recording will begin on July 26 and the first copy of the movie should be ready by July 5. After the big hit Annan Thampi, Parunthu is going to be another action film laced with comedy.

The film, scripted by TA Razak, tells the story of Gillette Purushothaman, a crude money lender with an iron heart who recovers his money by any means from his borrowers. Jayasurya, Biju Kurup, Sooraj Venjaranmoodu, Jagathy Sreekumar, Cochin Haneefa, Mamu Koya, Augustin and Saju Kodiyan are others in the cast. Lakhsmi Rai and Roma are the heroines. Alex Paul is the music director and Sankeev Shankar wields the camera.

Jayasurya, who had earlier acted with Mammootty in Bus Conductor, plays an important role in the film which also features Kalabhavan Mani in a significant role. The film, produced by Howly Pottur under the banner of Dream Frame Productions, is expected this Onam.
