Kanichukulangara case on silver screen

The triple murder at Kanichukulangara where T. G. Ramesh, promoter of Everest Chit company, and two others were killed in a so-called fake road accident, was one of the most talked-about murder cases in recent years.

Even as the case is in court and the prime accused are all under arrest, some filmmakers are planning to base a movie on this triple murder case. The case is quoted as 'planned deliberately on NH 47 by a speeding lorry colliding with the car and killing the passengers'.

Kanichukulangarayil CBI will be the movie's to be produced by Himalaya Productions; story will be by Harikumaran Thampi, direction by Suresh Vinoo, and will feature Biju Menon, Manoj K. Jayan, Saikumar and Sindhu Menon.

The movie will be shot in and around Alappuzha, beginning on 17th April.
