Vijayaraghavan in Missed Call

The pooja of upcoming Missed Call (Malayalam) to be directed by Jayendra Sharma, will be held at Ashoka Inn, Thrissur on January 11, 2009. This children's film is produced by Navjyothi Productions whose last project was Alphonsamma, a mega TV serial based on the life of St. Alphonsa, the first lady saint of Indian origin.

The crew has said that many children from different schools in the state have been selected to perform various roles in this film. Other cast members include Vijayaraghavan, T.S. Raju, Mala, Spadikam George, Jose Roopa Kala, Alani, Sudendra Nath, Reena, Ponnamma Babu and Manju Pillai. V.R. Jagath wields the camera. Satheesh Namboothiri will score music for lyrics penned by T. Mohan Das, Gireesh Puthenchery and Jose Kishore.

According to the initial reports, veteran actor Vijayaraghavan, son of popular National Award winning theatre personality N.N. Pillai, will play a meaty role. In his career spanning more than 25 years, he has played numerous characters including hero, second hero, character roles and even venomous villain roles for nearly 200 films.
