Mohanlal's Kargil changes title

Kargil, the second project of Mohanlal-Major Ravi team after Keerthi Chakra, is reportedly going to have its name changed. The producers are considering Kurukshethra to replace Kargil. The reason for the name change is unknown.

The movie will start shooting very soon and is supposed to release on Onam. Mohanlal is currently working on Maadambi which will be released in July. Kargil is a film based on the territorial dispute between India and Pakistan and the resultant war during1999.

The film is produced by Santhosh Damodaran under the banner of Damor films. The other cast include Biju Menon, Siddique, Cochin Haneefa, Bineesh Kodiyeri and Anil Murali.
