Namitha to woo Malayalam audience

Namitha the ruling sex symbol of Tamil cinema has a huge fan following in Kerala too. Keeping this in mind many have approached Namitha to act in their Malayalam films. But the attractive package from Tamil producers was the impeding factor.

Now, Namitha has finally agreed to do a Malayalam film with Kalabavan Mani. The film is titled as Black Stallion.

This is the first time that Namitha is playing in a full length heroine role in Malayalam.

It is said that Namitha has given them bulk dates for which she is reported to have been paid a record sum of Rs 25 lakhs, the highest ever paid to a heroine in recent times in Malayalam films.

Leading writer Rajesh Jayaram is doing the script and Ouseppachan provides music for this suspense thriller, where Namitha is going to spot a very glamorous look.

Pramod and Pappan, the director duo who had launched Nayantara in Malayalam through the movie Taskaraveeran are going to direct this malayalam debut movie of Namitha.

The shooting will start shortly.
