Vijayaraghavan
Debutante director Hari Narayanan's Nanthuni, starring Vijayaraghavan in the lead after a long gap, is said to be the real story of Nanu Asan who lived in Valluvanad village 80 years ago.

Nanu Asan was a member of Peruvannan, the only community which gave traditional treatments to smallpox patients in those days, when several superstitions on reasons behind the outbreak of smallpox were so prevalent that no one dared to attend any smallpox patients. Nanu Asan was very dedicated to care for patients and saved the lives of several people in the village.

Even Nanu Asan's life had a tragic component. His wife died after giving birth to a daughter. The movie revolves around the close relationship between Nanu Asan and his pretty daughter. Vijayaraghavan handles the role of Nanu Asan and debutante Mithuna will play the role of the daughter. Saikumar has a meaty role in this film.

Cinematography will be handled by debutante Sasi Ramakrishnan, associate of Santosh Sivan and Manoj Pillai. Penned by Priyesh Manambatta, the film will be produced by Kannan Mannarkaad under the banner of Athu and Achu creations. More details are awaited.
