The
recent
addition
to
the
long
list
of
Malayalam
actresses
who
have
migrated
to
greener
pastures
(namely,
Kollywood
and
Tollywood)
is
Navya
Nair.
Navya,
who
made
her
debut
in
Malayalam
with
Ishtam,
is
a
two
time
State
Award
winner.
Her
performances
in
Nandanam,
Kunjikkoonan,
Kanne
Madanguka
and
Saira
have
been
truly
exceptional.
As
is
the
trend,
the
actress
was
approached
by
Tamil
director
Radha
Mohan
for
his
film
Azhagiya
Theeyae
later,
she
did
Mayakkannadi
with
Cheran
now,
her
recent
release
Sila
Nerangalil
has
been
getting
good
response.
The
actress
is
nowadays
rarely
seen
in
Malayalam
films.
She
currently
has
only
Kavyam
in
Malayalam
in
which
she
has
an
important
role.
On
the
other
hand,
she
has
quite
a
few
Tamil
films
on
hand.
She
is
doing
Ettappan
with
Srikanth,
which
is
in
its
final
stages
of
production.
She
also
makes
a
guest
appearance
in
Cheran's
Raman
Thediya
Seethai.
Now,
the
actress
has
been
signed
up
for
a
Moser
Baer
production,
titled
Aval
Thamizharasi,
to
be
directed
by
debutant
Meera
Kadhiravan,
and
is
said
to
be
a
heroine-oriented
film.
Having
gained
a
foothold
in
Kollywood,
Navya
now
wants
to
stabilize
her
career.
We
wish
the
young
actress
the
very
best
in
her
endeavours.
