Nayantara joins remake world

Lal Jose's Meesa Madhavan, starring Dileep in the title role, based on the story of a thief, is the new film joining the list of remakes. Scripted by Ranjan Pramod, the original had Kavya Madhavan playing the female lead.

A Tamil remake of the film is being planned to be directed by Prabhakaran and with Karthik and Nayantara in the lead. Nayantara, who is riding the success wave after her show-stopping glam makeover in Billa, has reportedly started charging more for her films.

The pretty actress is the reigning queen, both in Kollywood and Tollywood. After a hiatus of three years, the actress is back to Malayalam in Twenty:20, starring opposite Prithviraj.
