Apoorva: Nithin's craftsmanship

Nithin, aged 18, a first year student at Thrissur Law College, has won many prizes, not in studies but in filmmaking. This youngster has already made a few short films; among them, Nirangalude Kottaram and Amrithavarshini have bagged several awards.

Now, this Onam, he plans to release a film titled Apoorva, which attempts to present the love and social commitment among students. The film has a bunch of newcomers in the lead roles. Sanjeev, Helen (former Miss Kerala) and Ajay Sathyan don the pivotal roles. The film also features popular stars like Kalabhavan Mani, Vimala Raman, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Innocent and ace Tamil comedian Senthil in other important roles. The film is produced under the banner of Gowry Creations and most of the post production works have been completed.

So, while most of his friends will be planning how to celebrate Onam, young director Nithin will be eagerly looking forward to releasing his movie.
