Ore Kadal steals the show

Ore Kadal has earned accolades for its stars, Mammootty and Meera Jasmine, in the prestigious Amritha Film awards announced last week.

While Lal Jose's Arabikkatha bagged the best film award, a special award for Dhakshinamoorthy's contribution to Malayalam cinema also was given.

The award for the best director goes to Shyam Prasad for Ore Kadal.

Gireesh Menon (best art direction - Nadiya Kollapeta Rathri)
Pattanam Rasheed (best makeup - Paradesi)
S.B. Satheesh (best costumes - Naalu Pennungal, Big B)
The awards were finalized by a panel in accordance with SMSs from the viewers of Amritha TV channel.
