Thilakan comes back as hero

Orkuka Vallappozhum is a film in which veteran actor Thilakan has the lead role. The film, which started shooting recently in at Kuttikkanam in Idukki district, is set in the backdrop of hilly areas and flashbacks show the past life of the protagonist Sethumadhavan. Sethumadhavan, played by Thilakan is a man aged 70, who lives engrossed in the memories of his past. The memories start from the time he first came to the old bungalow in the high ranges.

The film, produced by Y.S. Vinu under the banner of God"s Own Moviz, is directed by debutante Sohanlal. The cast also includes Jagadeesh, Rejith Menon, Krishnachandran, Meera Vasudev, Baby Malavika, Master Dhananjay, Chali Pala etc. M. Jayachandran scores some melodious tunes for lyrics written by Gireesh Puthencherry and late P. Bhaskaran. Award-winning cinematographer M.J. Radhakrishnan is the cameraman.
