Jayaram's Marichan in Panchaamritham

Panchaamritham is ready to release in January first week, in which Jayaram dons the role of 'Marichan'. In Ramayana, Marichan is the uncle of Ravana, who disguises as a golden deer to woo Raman and Lakshmanan. It is a bilingual film directed by Raju Eswaran. The film will be released in Malayalam and Tamil.

It is the first time that Jayaram is appearing in the role of a classical character. Abhirami Ramanathan and Nallamai Ramanathan are the producers. Raju Eshwar has penned the script. This is a comedy oriented film. Pramod Sharma has wielded the camera. Sunder C. Sabu has scored the music. Saranya Mohan is the heroine, supported by Aravind, Nazer, Prakash Raj, M.S. Bhasker, Sameeksha Raju and Eshwar.
