Praveena happy with her comeback film

Praveena, who made her comeback as a heroine through the Kalabhavan Mani starrer Swarnam after her marriage, is thrilled with the type of response that Swarnam directed by debutant Venugopan, has received and the accolades her acting is getting.

She played the role of Kalabhavan Mani's wife in Swarnam. She says that she is looking for films and roles with some substance and Swarnam has given her just that. In this movie, the actress with an innocent face appeared with the versatile Kalabhavan after several years. They were last seen together in the hit film Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Oru Pinne Njanum (1999). However, it is not known if she has signed any new projects in Malayalam.

Praveena has acted in several films, including Agni Sakshi, Pilots, Onnam Vattom Kandapol, Nalacharitam Naala Divasam, Kali Unjal, The Truth and Rushy Vamsam. She took a break after marriage and later, was seen in a number of hit TV serials. Praveena had been in a cameo role in the Mohanlal-starrer Rock N Roll released last year.
