Prithviraj not in Swapnamalika

Prithviraj and Mohanlal were joining together for the first time on screen for K.B. Devaraj's Swapnamalika. A photo session for the movie capturing the cover pages of all important film magazines of the state, had the stars posing together. Now, major changes on the script have Prithviraj nudged out of the story entirely.

The new story line has Mohanlal as Appu Nair, a permanent resident of U S and his relationship with Radha Karmal, a foreign lady. Ileana has bagged this role Meera Jasmine, Jagathy and Nedumudi Venu have pivotal roles. Ilayaraja will score the music and Venu is the cinematographer.

The film starts shooting by the end of May.
