Prithviraj with Renjith after 8 yrs

Director-scriptwriter Renjith is hoping to get lucky this time with Prithviraj. Renjith, whose hits include Ravanaprabhu and Nandhanam, introduced this Chocolate hero to films eight years ago. The new flick, titled Thirakkatha, will be produced by Renjith's Capitol Theatre.

Thirakkatha will also feature Pranayakalam-fame Ajmal Ameer. He has hit big time in Kollywood with the recent film Anjathey, which has quietly become a success in Tamil Nadu.

Jagathy, Siddique and Nishanth Sagar are in the supporting cast. May 1st should see the movie start rolling in the capital city. Varnachithra will be the distributor.

Director Renjith is facing the camera for the first time as the lead in Gulmohar. He plays the role of a college lecturer named Induchoodan. The movie spans from 1975, when the Congress Government declared emergency, to the present.

The film debuts Minu Mathew as the heroine. Directed by Jayaraj, most of this movie has been shot at Kozhikode.
