Prithviraj in Thirakkatha

Thirakkatha is the next film to be made on the inside story of the glamorous field of films. Several movies like Udhayananu Tharam, Chathikkatha Chanthu, Katha Parayumbol and Lekhayude Maranam: Oru Flash Back (1984) showed the dreams and frustrations of all who inhabit movie world. The success of all these films makes it obvious that the public is always interested in knowing about what is happening behind the silver screen.

Prithviraj, who made his debut through Nandanam, has matured fast as an actor to handle any type of role given to him. In Thirakkatha, he plays the role of young director Akbar Ahamed, whose films are criticized for 'lifting' storylines from Hollywood.

The movie is produced by Varnachithra and Capital Theatres. Music director Sarath is all set to return after a gap of six years by composing music for the film. Director Ranjit also plays a crucial role on screen.
