It
was
a
daring
decision
by
Prithviraj
to
do
a
negative
role
in
the
Tamil
film
Kana
Kandein
just
after
entering
Kollywood.
But
the
audience
accepted
him
as
a
villain
despite
his
chocolate
boy
looks!
His
subsequent
films
as
hero
also
won
the
acceptance
of
the
people.
So
his
crave
for
challenges
has
paid
off!
Prithviraj
has
recently
signed
up
for
a
Mani
Ratnam
film
and
rumours
say
that
he
plays
a
villain
in
this
flick
too.
But
the
actor
refused
to
disclose
his
role
in
the
movie.
"I
am
excited
about
working
in
a
Mani
Ratnam
movie.
But
I
can"t
say
anything
about
the
role,
which
is
strictly
under
wraps," he
said.
As
far
as
villain
roles
are
concerned,
dubbing
is
very
crucial,
since
the
success
of
that
role
depends
on
the
quality
of
the
voice.
For
Prithviraj,
even
if
his
Malayalam
accent
is
evident
when
he
speaks
Tamil,
he
still
dubs
for
himself
and
is
very
particular
about
it.
"My
only
condition
before
signing
a
movie
is
that
I
should
dub
for
myself.
I
feel
that
if
someone
else
does
the
job,
my
individuality
is
lost,"
he
explains.
His
current
project
in
Tamil
is
Ninaithale
Inikkum,
a
remake
of
the
Malayalam
super-hit
Classmates.
The
movie
is
a
twin-hero
subject
played
by
Prithviraj
and
Shakti;
National
Award
winner
Priyamani
is
the
female
lead.
