Sagar alias Jackey to start shooting

Mohanlal's Sagar alias Jackey, directed by Amal Neerad, will start shooting in November first week. The locations will be at Vizhigham, Goa, Leh and Ladakh. Other cast members include Bhavana, Manoj K. Jayan and others. The first schedule extends for thirteen days and includes two song sequences. The second schedule will begin in the middle of December. Antony Perumbavoor is producing the film under the banner of Aseervaad films.

The film is a sequel to Mohanlal's 1980's super hit Erupatham Nootandu. The film was first named as Ee Erupathi Onnam Nootandu but later changed to Sagar alias Jackey. Mohanlal name in Erupatham Nootandu is Sagar and he is an underworld king nicknamed Jackey.
