By Staff

Saikumar
Saikumar, one of the finest actors in the Malayalam film industry. He started his career as a child artist in Vidarunna Mottukal and debuted as a hero and a comedian with Siddeeq-Lal's blockbuster Ramji Rao Speaking, then slowly mastered serious as well as powerful negative roles. Now, after a gap of some years, he will be the hero of Kochi Bava, to be directed by Iqbal, assistant of the hit directors Mani Ratnam and P. Vasu.

In this film, Saikumar will portray Quader Ali Baba, a man who lives only for the upliftment of the poor and suppressed. As a result, he accumulates more and more enemies. The climax of the movie shows how he overcomes the threats of his enemies who want nothing less than the ultimate end of Ali Baba.

Director Iqbal assured that Saikumar's histrionics can be best exploited with this character which demands an essential acting skill from the actor. Saikumar will appear in four different style, with 'bulganin', shaven head, long beard and normal style.

Other cast members include Siddique, Ranjith, Devan, Mamu Koya, Idavela Babu and others. The movie will be produced by Hari Das. Shooting starts in the first week of October.
