the
US,
actress
Shobana's
music-dance
fusion
'Maya
Ravan
2008'
with
a
cast
of
50
artistes
is
all
set
to
start
its
Indian
tour
on
July
18,
2008.
The
play
will
be
first
staged
at
Music
Academy
Hall,
Chennai.
This
is
the
second
time
the
play
is
coming
to
the
city.
Meanwhile,
actor
Kamal
Hassan,
one
of
the
special
invitees
to
the
dance
show,
informed
Shobana
that
he
may
not
be
able
to
attend
the
show
as
he
would
be
flying
down
to
Sweden
on
July
15th
for
a
trip
to
fix
locations
for
his
next
brainchild,
Marmayogi.
Many
eminent
artistes
like
Revathi,
Suhasini,
Naseeruddin
Shah
and
Tabu
have
rendered
their
voices
to
the
characters
in
this
play,
which
is
dedicated
to
Shobana's
aunts
Lalitha,
Padmini,
and
Ragini,
popularly
known
as
the
Travancore
sisters.
The
new
version
of
Maya
Ravan
will
have
more
Bollywood
elements
on
stage.
