Shwetha Menon is Mohanlal's wife

Shwetha Menon, former Miss India-Asia Pacific, is playing the role of Mohanlal's wife Alice, in K.P. Kumaran's much-awaited Askashgopuram. She earlier appeared as Mohanlal's wife in another offbeat film, Paradesi. Shwetha made her debut in Malayalam with Anaswaram at a young age of 14 and later appeared in Nakshtrakoodaram, Welcome to Kodaikanal and Koushalam. She then took a break as she was busy with her modeling career. She also acted in some Hindi films.

Her sizzling dance number in Priyadarshan's Kakkakuyil mesmerized Kerala cine buffs and she made her comeback to Malayalam cinema with K.J. Bose's Tantra. The actress wants to do more challenging roles. Her last film, Rock 'n' Roll, failed to rock at the box office. Hope Askashgopuram brings in some good fortunes for the glam doll!
