Soundarya Rajinikanth eyes Malayalam

Soundarya Rajinikanth, 23-year old daughter of Tamil superstar, has revealed that she has plans of making films in Malayalam and Telugu in the near future. Although the gorgeous film producer, who has contributed in several films in Kollywood, hasn't confirmed any dates, it is assumed that she will begin work on these films before the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Soundarya, director of Rajini's forthcoming animated magnum opus, Sultan - The Warrior, officially confirmed that she will direct Billa 2 with actor Ajith. She will start working on the film after June 2009, by which time Ajith will be free from Aegan. Now a team has seriously begun discussions for Billa 2, she said.

Soundarya is going to produce this sequel in association with Warner Bros. Pictures India which has recently entered into a tie-up with her production house Ocher Studios for producing films.

Sultan - The Warrior is also an Ocher Studios-Adlabs-Warner Bros joint venture. This full length 3D movie, in which the main character will be voiced by her father, Rajinikanth, will be released in 12 different world languages in more than 1700 screens worldwide simultaneously. The movie is produced at a cost of Rs. 700 million.
