Boss succeeds Bullet

Suresh Gopi, who has already completed Twenty:20, Laptop and Aayudham, will very soon start shooting for his next film titled Boss, in which Suresh Gopi teams up again with director Nizar after Bullet, an investigative thriller.

Boss, which will start rolling soon at Kochi and Alappuzha, will be completed in two schedules. Boss has Suresh Gopi playing the title role of a goonda who holds sway over a Kochi slum. Actress-singer Vasundhara Das, who had made an impressive debut in Malayalam opposite Mohanlal in blockbuster Ravanaprabhu and Mammootty in Vajram, will be the leading lady.

Kalabhavan Mani appears in an equally important role as Malli, another dreaded goonda. Also in the cast are Jagathy Sreekumar, Innocent, Cochin Haneefa, Harishri Ashokan, Salim Kumar, T.G. Ravi, Johnny, Manraj, Sreejith Ravi and Baburaj.

Saloo George cranks the camera for Boss, which features editing by G. Murali and art direction by Gangan Thalavil. Scripted by Satheesh K. Sivan and Suresh Menon, who had earlier scripted the Jayaram-starrer Sooryan, Boss is produced by Shajahan under the banner of Royal Art Movies.
