Suresh Gopi in uniform again

Suresh Gopi has a special connection with police uniforms. Every year, he accepts two or three police characters, of which at least one turns box office. This year, we have already seen Suresh Gopi playing the role of an S.P in The Sound Of Boot. In fact, Suresh Gopi has already become a 'police icon' in the Malayalam film industry. His portrayal of Police Commissioner Bharath Chandran IPS in Commissioner (1994) and Ekalavyan elevated him to super stardom.

Is he donning police uniform soon? Yes, of course. He has a number of police roles in the near future. He is appearing as D.S.P. in AMMA's multi-starrer Twenty:20 to be released in July.

Ayudham, directed by M.A. Nishad, will also feature Suresh Gopi as a sincere, disciplined Crime Branch Deputy Superintendent of Police Rishikesh I.P.S. , who is assigned by the State's Chief Minister to clear chaos following a bomb blast case. Lakshmi Rai will be the heroine. The movie will also feature Bharathy, Karthika, Madhu, Thilakan, Murali, Bala, Biju Menon and Jagathy Sreekumar.

It is heard that after Ayudham, the action hero will begin another movie with his favourite director Shaji Kailas, of course, in another role in uniform.
