Tisca Chopra comes down South

The latest buzz is that Bollywood actress Tisca Chopra, who played the mother of wonder kid Darsheel Safari in Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par, is going to play Mammootty's heroine in his next film Maya Bazaar directed by debutant Thomas Sebastian.

After her award winning performance in Taare Zameen Par, Tisca Chopra has acted in Nandita Das' debut directorial venture Firaaq—In Such Times, to be released in October. The shooting of the film is already completed and currently, it is in post production stage. Tisca is also busy with Sanjay Gupta's Alibaug which stars many biggies of Bollywood.

The shooting of Maya Bazaar will start next week at Pollachi, Tamil Nadu. The film is about a daredevil motorcycle rider who buys and sells used cars. The film, written by T.A. Razak, is said to be an action entertainer. Currently, Mammootty is working for Pazhassi Raja and Kutty Shranku.
