Twenty:20 on song

Big-budget, multi-starrer AMMA's film, Twenty:20, which has become a sensation these days for featuring 69 film stars including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Jayaram, Prithviraj, Nayantara, Gopika, Bhavana, Meera Jasmine and Navya Nair, has come up with another record.

The makers of this upcoming movie have decided to go with a special song which will be sung by, not one or two, but a total of seventeen singers including veterans like Yesudas and Jayachandran. Following the special song from Om Shanti Om, this song will feature most of the Malayalam stars.

This song, composed by Suresh Peters, is said to be 'Adipoli' and will be a highlight of the film. The sets by veteran art director Joseph Nellikunnu are set up cost a whopping Rs 60 lakhs, the highest-ever for a Malayalam film song picturisation. The lyrics have been penned by Gireesh Puthencherry.

Twenty:20 is being directed by Joshi with a script by Siby K. Thomas and Udaya Krishnan. Twenty:20 is being planned for release in 118 centers - another record in the history of Malayalam cinema.
