Vande Mataram releasing on July 4

After the Vishu release Annan Thampi, which is confirmed as a hit according to the initial reports from the theatres, Mammootty's next movie, Vande Mataram, was scheduled to hit the theatres on July 4.

The movie, made simultaneously in Tamil with the title Aruvadai, will also grace theatres on the same day. Meanwhile, rumours say that Vande Mataram may be released even prior to July 4.

Starring Mammootty and Tamil action hero Arjun in the lead, Vande Mataram is an investigative action thriller that tells the story of a group of officers protecting the country from the infiltrations of an international terrorist organization. The execution of these terrorists forms the climax of the movie.
