MACTA's
former
general
secretary,
director
Vinayan,
may
face
disciplinary
action
for
violating
the
code
of
conduct
that
was
reached
in
the
meeting
convened
by
AIFEC
in
Chennai
to
sort
out
the
issues
in
MACTA.
No
one
in
the
committee
was
allowed
to
talk
to
the
press
about
the
MACTA's
new
developments.
But
Vinayan
had
a
press
conference
on
Thursday
in
MACTA's
state
office
to
announce
that
they
were
ready
earlier
also
to
step
down
and
hold
elections.
While
reacting
to
the
issue,
AIFEC
general
secretary
S.
Vijayan
said
the
confederation
was
yet
to
get
a
written
complaint
on
the
issue.
He
said
that
Vinayan
had
sought
the
permission
of
the
AIFEC
in
addressing
the
media
to
clear
certain
allegations
relating
to
the
irregularities
in
the
use
of
federation
funds.
