Is
there
any
film
director
who
doesn't
want
to
make
a
film
with
big
stars?
Yes,
there
is!
Vinayan,
one
of
the
noted
film
directors
in
South,
says
that
he
does
not
like
directing
top
actors
since
he
may
need
to
compromise
with
the
script
to
suit
to
their
tastes
and
mass
appeal.
"I
am
comfortable
and
content
in
making
films
with
new
faces," he
said
while
talking
about
his
next
Tamil
venture,
Nalai
Namadhae,
which
is
being
produced
by
Jose
Mavali
on
behalf
of
Jana
Seva,
an
orphanage
in
Kerala.
This
movie
also
features
two
newcomers,
Ram
and
Tanusha,
in
the
lead.
The
proceeds
from
this
movie
would
be
utilized
for
maintaining
the
orphanage.
"My
passion
is
to
make
such
films
not
accepted
by
others.
Directing
films
with
super
stars
is
like
living
in
a
cage.
There
will
be
restrictions
and
methods
for
directing
such
films.
It
is
easy
for
me
to
do
films
in
my
own
independent
way,"
he
added.
Interestingly,
Vinayan,
who
had
directed
Kollywood
movies
like
Kasi,
En
Manava
Vanil
and
Arputha
Theevu,
started
his
career
with
Super
Star,
in
which
he
used
a
Mohanlal
look-alike
in
the
lead
role.
His
earlier
venture,
Albhutha
Dweep
earned
a
Guinness
Book
entry
for
featuring
350
dwarfs
in
the
movie
(including
the
male
lead
Ajayan)
-
ranging
between
2.5
ft
and
3.5
ft
in
height.
