No heroine for our superstar Mohanlal

Alexander The Great by director Murali Nagavally has Mohanlal essaying the role of Alexander Varma, a good natured human being, who ends up in trouble in spite of his goodness. Mohanlal bears a half Christian and half Hindu identity in this movie.

Alexander The Great is different also because our superstar does not have a heroine opposite him in this movie. Telugu Actress Meenakshi Dixit has been roped in for this film, but she will be cast opposite upcoming actor Bala.

The shooting of the film has already started in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The script penned by Balachandra is being produced by VBK Menon. Music in scored by none other than M G Sreekumar.
