Amal Neerad not to remake Mrigaya

Amal Neerad, the director, is in his attempt to make his debut in Tamil industry. He will cast Surya Sivakumar as his hero. Earlier it was said that Amal is to remake the popular Malayalam movie Mrigaya, which cast Mammootty in the lead role. But now Amal clarifies that he has no plans to remake any films.

Amal says that his Tamil movie will have completely a new story. Surya will play a special character in the film. The film will start rolling by the end of 2010. Amal is currently busy with his movie with Prithviraj. Surya is to do two more earlier committed films.
