Angel John: Mohanlal's biggest debacle ever!

Malayalam movie Angel John has fallen flat at the box offices and this has triggered an alarm across the state. When the trade pundits had passed their verdict, many had brushed it aside as silly, but truth can be harsh to the core. The worst has befallen with the holdover being declared for the movie right from day five. The decreasing trend was evinced from the second day.

Filmmaker Jayasurya who had much hopes has to bravely face this defeat. Many point out that the movie has a good story, but the poor execution has led to the mess. The fantasy angle has not been well accepted by the audiences. Some also attribute it to the wrong timing of release of the movie. The movie has faltered while vying for a space with the biggies like Pazhassi Raja, which has been minting money at the box offices.

The movie has proven to be the biggest debacle for superstar Mohanlal, after his Photographer and as many say, no Mohanlal movie has suffered such a bad fate till now. The actor definitely needs to reconsider his choices and decisions, in the wake of movies like Angel John, failing to keep the promises.
