Arya won't do Malayalam film

Actor Arya has backed out of his Malayalam project opposite Mohanlal. The film would have marked Arya"s Malayalam debut but he has chosen to work in director Bala"s film and hence dropped the Mohanlal film. Bala was the one who had given Arya a break in Naan Kadavul.

The actor"s other reason for backing out of the project was because he wants to establish himself in Tamil films. Now that Arya is no longer doing the film, Mohanlal has suggested roping in Ganesh Venkataraman, who starred with him in Unnaipol Oruvan, for the movie.
