Chief
Judicial
Magistrate
R
R
Kamath
has
forbidden
a
petition
filed
by
film
actor
Baiju,
regarding
the
return
of
his
licensed
pistol
which
the
police
had
earlier
confiscated
from
him.
This
was
following
a
case
which
was
earlier
registered
at
the
Museum
police
station
way
back
in
2005.
Deputy
Director
of
Prosecution
(DDP)
V.
Radhakrishnan
Nair
has
stated
clearly,
"It
will
be
dangerous
to
allow
a
man
such
as
the
petitioner
who
is
prone
to
drinking
and
easily
provoked
to
pull
out
the
weapon
(pistol)
and
threaten
someone.
It
will
be
a
folly
of
the
worst
kind
to
put
a
pistol
in
the
hands
of
such
a
man." The
Chief
Judicial
Magistrate
has
fully
accepted
the
prosecutor"s
view
and
has
therefore
rejected
the
plea
regarding
the
return
of
the
pistol.
Baiju
had
earlier
got
engaged
in
a
fierce
argument
with
Madhu
Mohanan
Nair
during
a
party
held
at
Thiruvananthapuram
Club
way
back
on
November
6,
2005.
Baiju
had
come
armed
with
a
boxing
block
(knuckle-duster)
and
pistol.
Following
the
argument
Baiju
withdrew
his
boxing
block
and
pounced
upon
Madhu
Mohanan
Nair
and
smashed
his
nasal
bone
badly.
This
is
when
the
reel
image
and
the
real
image
hardly
matches.
