Jayaram cheated in marriage

Jayaram essays the role of a cable operator who marries the daughter of a rich government official in the upcoming Malayalam movie Bhagyadevatha by Sathyan Anthikkad. He had hoped to get a handsome dowry so that he could get his two sisers married off in a fairly decent way and also bring up his business. However misforunate as it may be termed, he is cheated and has to forgo the dowry.

Apart from Jayaram and Kanika in the lead, the movie also includes all the regular and favourite star cast of Sathyan. Jayaram-Kanika marriage was shot at the scenic location of Kuttanad with the backwaters as the backdrop. The script has been handled by the director, Sathyan Anthikkad himself.

Bhagyadevatha will hit 55 theaters all around Kerala on 23rd of April. The flick was previously slated to release on the first week of next month but the release date has been advanced to take advantage of the free vacation time after the elections. We hope that the film would register another success at the box office.
