Bhoomi Malayalam: Women wage their battles

Bhoomi Malayalam by ace director T V Chandran tracks the journey from 1948 to 2008 to show that the anxiety and the fear that infest the minds of the women folk never change now matter whether they are from any walk of life. This
truth has been visually portrayed onscreen through the lives of seven women and the circumstances they are trapped in.

When he describes the circumstances and the factors, this movie inevitably becomes a film narrating the contemporary social life in Kerala. The movie tracks every phase of life adolescence, marriage, career and so on. Sureshgopi plays a pivotal role in the movie along with Nedumudi Venu, Anoop Chandran, Padmapriya, Samvritha Sunil, Lakshmi Sharma, Kripa and others.

The movie does give the message that women whose freedom is curtailed will have to come forward and wage the battle on their own and taste the success.
