Blessy's Brahmaram gets a clean 'U'

Brahmaram by filmmaker Blessy with Mohanlal in the lead role has come unscathed through censoring. The movie was censored on June 23 morning by the Thiruvananthapuram Regional Censor Board and was cleared with a clean 'U' certificate. Blessy' s last movie Calcutta News was cleared by the censor board with several cuts.

Brahmaram is about a lorry driver's journey from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu to Marayoor in the Idukki District of Kerala and the varied experiences that he comes across during his journey. Bhumika Chawla plays the lead heroine role, while Lakshmi Gopalaswami also has a pivotal role to play in the movie. The censor board members have stated that Brahmaram is a "clean well made road movie".

Brahmaram is all set to release in the theatres on July 2nd.
