Dileep and Kalabhavan Mani in Film Star

Filmmaker Sanjeev Raj is getting started with his next Malayalam movie Film Star after Five Fingers. Film Star is modelled like a satire based on the film industry and how the people outside watch this world with awe and is influenced by this.

Kalabhavan Mani will play the lead role as a multilingual artiste, while Dileep will come across as Nanda Gopan, an enthusiastic film lover. Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar, Biju Menon, Cochin Haneefa and Biju Kuttan are the others in the cast. Film Star to be produced by Appu Pattathanam and Sanjeev Raj will commence shooting from December 15 in places in and around Palakkad, Chennai and Hyderabad.
