Popular Malayalam actress Geethu Mohandas has turned director. She has acted in various movies in Malayalam. She has even acted in Tamil like the movie Nala Damayanthi opposite Madhavan

Geethu Mohandas has now turned director with the film Kekkunundo in Malayalam and even completed it in a single schedule successfully without much publicity.

“We have always talked about welfare of the people. But does it really affect them? If so, in which way? My film is about that..." is the reply from the actor when asked about the project.

The film spans just thirty minutes and the post production work is going on.
