Paresh Mokashi bags Aravindan Puraskaram

Poet O.N.V. Kurup presented the Chalachitra Film Society's 18th Aravindan Puraskaram to Marathi director Paresh Mokashi on Sunday at a function in Thiruvananthapuram. Paresh Mokashi's film Harischandra's Factory has won the award for the best debutant director in the country.

Aravindan's close friends Tandem Gopalakrishnan and K. Purushothaman were present. Both of them shared their memories with Aravindan. Mokashi said that he was privileged to receive this award and that there was an idea to dub the film to other regional languages including Malayalam.

Jury chairman Lenin Rajendran introduced Mokashi. Chalachitra president Raj Mohan welcomed the gathering.
