Jayaram to do a double act

Jayaram, who has become a hot property (after the super success of last year's Veruthe Oru Bharya by Akku Akbar) in ad circuits as a brand ambassador of highly prestigious products like Ramraj Suiting, will soon don a double role in an yet-to-be-titled film, directed by veteran K. Madhu, who is famous for investigative thrillers like Nadiya Kollappetta Rathri (2007), Nerariyan CBI (2005), Sethurama Iyer CBI (2004), Nariman (2001), Crime File (1999) and Oru Abhibhashakante Case Diary (1995).

This Jayaram starrer is scripted by S.N. Swamy, the man behind the script of upcoming Mohanlal film Sagar Alias Jackie - Reloaded. Jayaram had already worked with K. Madhu in Randam Varavu (1990) in a double role. The shooting will start soon.

Jayaram is now pinning his hopes on his upcoming Samasthakeralam P.O. directed by Bibin Prabhakar, former assistant to directors Ranjith, Shaji Kailaas and Padmakumar. Produced by Howley Pottoore under the banner of Dream Team Productions, this film is scripted by K. Gireesh Kumar of Veruthe Oru Bharya. Samasthakeralam P.O. is slated for a February release.

Jayaram's next project is ace director Sathyan Anthikkad's untitled film, produced by M.M. Hamza under the banner of Kala Sangham. Popular Tamil actress Kanihaa (also spelt Kanika) is the heroine of this film, which is expected to start rolling from February 1 in Allapuzha.
