Jayasurya-Samvrutha met with an accident

By By: Arya Aiyappan

Imagine yourself standing at the threshold of death, but pulled back right in time to relish the joys of life. If imagination can go this wild, then how would our dear stars Jayasurya and Samvritha Sunil describe their real life tryst with death. This is no fabricated story or the ready to shoot script of some new Malayalam movie in the making.

Jayasurya and Samvritha Sunil were shooting a song sequence of their forthcoming movie Ivar Vivahitharayal in a rubber boat in the midst of a pond on last Friday morning at Manalalkuppam, Pondicherry. When the shooting was proceeding the boat capsized and both Jayasurya and Samvritha fell into the pond, which is roughly about 35 feet deep. However the presence of mind of the lifeguards helped to save the two artistes from the jaws of death. Both Samvritha and Jayasurya are fine, though Jayasurya has a small injury on his heel.

Ivar Vivahitharayal by director Saji Surendran narrates the story of a young man who gets entangled in some problems, with the entry of three women in his life. The movie also portrays the problematic married life of Prakash in a hilarious vein. Apart from Jayasurya and Samvritha, Roma, Nedumudi Venu, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Anoop Menon,Saikumar, Siddique, Devan, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Rekha, Kala Ranjini and Mallika Sukumaran also add glamour to the show.
