Kaanakanmani on the woes of unborn children

Director Akku Akbar"s film Kaanakanmani is about the story of unborn children who were aborted by their parents before they could see the light of the day. The movie stars Jayaram and Padmapriya and promises not to get preachy, but to simply be a good narration from the point of view of the victim.

Kaanakanmani has all throughout been hailed as a family entertainer and has been referred to as a light-hearted entertainer. The movie which has been brought to the theatres by Mammootty"s Playhouse, focuses on inter-religious marriages and the problems that ensue from that. Biju Menon, Vijayaraghavan, Sukumari and others are also there in the star cast.
