Kalabhavan Mani in Shankar's Keralotsavam

Kalabhavan Mani is going a through a rough patch and the actor is in need of a major break. The news goes that the actor has been roped in for the debut directorial venture by actor turned director Shankar. Shankar has rechristened himself as Shankar Panikkar for this movie.

The Malayalam movie Keralotsavam 2009 has Vinu Mohan and Vishnu Priya in the lead roles. Kalabhavan Mani will come as a RAW officer Jeevan Issac who is on the lookout for a man who has gone missing.

Keralotsavam has its storyline by Vinoo Narayanan. Salimkumar, Ganesh Kumar, Shivaji Guruvayoor, Kishor Sathya and Abhirami Suresh also play key roles in the movie. The movie is expected to strike the theatres in a few months time.
