Karthik to change his track

Karthik, the playback singer is changing his track from singing to acting. He is making his debut as an actor in a short film directed by Rajiv Menon, the cinematographer turned director. The film is titled Saji Prana. Karthik has scored the music for it and also has acted in it.

Karthik says, “At first, I was asked to score music for this short film that features couple of Bharatanatyam dancers. Since it was a small role, I accepted Rajiv Menon"s offer to perform along with the dancers. It does not mean that I am shifting my interests to acting. I am focused on music and I"ll keep working for it" according to sources.

The actor did got many ofers raelier but denied it. He has a very good career record as a singer.
