Karthika to enter wedlock on May 18

Actress Karthika also known as Lidiya is getting married to medical officer Merin on May 18 Thevalakara St Mary's Orthodox Church.

Following the path set by her predecessors, Karthika is to enter wedlock with Merin, who is currently working at Blue Mount hospital Michigan in US and Karthika. They had met through some friends and soon the friendship blossomed into love thanks to emails and chatting.

Karthika, who made her debut in Malayalam through the movie Oomappenninu Uriyada Payyan by Vinayan has done nearly 15 movies so far. An excited Karthika told the media persons, "When the wedding date was fixed, the first person I called up and informed was Vinayan sir who is my Godfather" The actress will be joining Merin only after she has completed her Tamil assignments like Noothukku Nooru and Palaivanacholai. She has acted in many Tamil movies earlier as well like Namnadu, Dindigul Sarathy, Naale Namathe and Arumaname.
