Karthika finds greener pastures in Tamil

After the super hit film Dindigul Saarathy, Karthika has got so many offers from Tamil. Dindigul Saarathy was the remake of Malayalam film Vadakunokki Yantram. Though Karthika is selective regarding the Tamil movies, she has now been cast in the next project by Selva. He is remaking the film Nootruku Nooru which was released in 1971 and directed by Balachander.

In that film the late actress Srividya had donned the role of a malayali girl. Karthika is selected to do this role in the remake. Next month Aarumukhame will be released. In this film she has essayed the role of a road worker, which is a very strong character. The director of the film is Sudheesh Sankar and hero is Deepak who is also a Keralite. In an other film Naalai Namathai Karthika dons the role of a district Collector.
