Kerala Film Festival on Dec 11

The International Kerala Film Festival is to commence on December 11. Honorable Chief Minister for the State Sri V S Achuthanandan will inaugurate the function. The function will honor the Oscar winners Gulzar, A R Rahman and Resul Pookutty.

The festival will screen seven modern films of Malayalam in the Malayalam Cinema Today section. 14 films including four Indian cinemas will compete for the Golden Crow Pheasant Award. Film makers like Lohithadas, Mrinal Sen, will have a retrospective in the festival. Adoor Bhavani, Kamala Surayya etc will be reminisced in the function
