MACTA president Vinayan and general secretary Baiju Kottarakara said at a press meet that the decision to fight against FEFKA would not hamper the motive. The agitation would continue until FEFKA members stop refusing job to MACTA members. They were addressing a press meet at Kochi on Tuesday.
They clarified that the protest is against the producers who refuse job to light boys and technicians and that it is not against Mammooty. Unfortunately, knowingly or unknowingly Mammootty has become a tool for the producers in refusing the job, they said.
Earlier the MACTA Federation had carried out a protest march aginst Mammootty at the sets of the upcoming Malayalam movie Daddy Cool. AMMA president and actor Innocent had earlier condemned this as a sheer rowy act. It also appears that the political factions CPI and CPM are also rendering their support to the warring factions MACTA and FEFKA.
